For the second consecutive year, we have been awarded the Great Place to Work® certification, an international recognition granted to companies with outstanding workplace cultures based on trust and respect. This certification is based on the anonymous responses of our employees to the Great Place to Work® Trust Index© survey.

Our CEO, António Henriques, states:

We believe that providing our employees with development opportunities and a positive, inclusive work environment is essential to our success.”

Achieving this distinction reflects our strong commitment to human resource management and talent retention. In 2024, Bison employees completed more than 5,521 hours of training in core banking areas, as well as IT, soft skills, and Mandarin. Beyond professional development, the Bank actively fosters its organizational culture through monthly initiatives such as the ‘Breakfast with the CEO’ programme, where a randomly selected group of employees has the opportunity to have breakfast with António Henriques in an informal and relaxed setting.

We also promote a variety of themed monthly team-building activities, including violin workshops, wine tastings, and table football tournaments.

The results of the Great Place to Work® survey, conducted amongst our employees, show that new employees are made to feel welcome (90%), that they perceive the leadership as competent and approachable, ethical and honest (over 90%), and that there is a strong sense of camaraderie amongst colleagues (91%). 75% of employees consider Bison Bank to be an excellent place to work.
