The Bison Bank mortgage solution, available to Portuguese and international Clients, is guaranteed through a partnership with UCI (Unión de Créditos Inmobiliários, S.A., EFC (Sociedad Unipersonal) – Branch in Portugal)*, an institution specialized in this type of financing.

  • Flexible financing term.
  • Option to choose fixed, mixed, or variable interest rate.
  • Fixed Rate: The installment remains the same throughout the agreed term.
  • Mixed Rate: The installment does not change during the fixed rate period, protecting against fluctuations in the Euribor. After the fixed rate period, the loan switches to a variable interest rate, indexed to the 6-month Euribor.
  • Variable Rate: The installment is constant and is reviewed semi-annually according to interest rate changes.
  • Personalized assistance throughout the entire process by your Bison Bank Manager and a UCI Manager.
  • Acquisition of Permanent Own Housing: up to 90% of the acquisition value or the property appraisal value (whichever is lower), depending on the Client’s profile and presented guarantees.
  • Acquisition of Housing for other purposes: up to 80% of the acquisition value or the property appraisal value (whichever is lower), depending on the Client’s profile and presented guarantees.

Term

Fixed Rate

Term of 10 or 15 years and up to a maximum of 75 years of age at the end of the loan.

Mixed Rate

Minimum of 7 years and maximum of 35 years according to the selected product, Client profile, and up to a maximum of 75 years of age at the end of the loan.

Variable Rate

Minimum of 7 years and maximum of 35 years according to the selected product, Client profile, and up to a maximum of 75 years of age at the end of the loan.

 

Interest Rate

Fixed Rate – Indexed to the Fixed Rate of 10 or 15 years, established at the time of loan contracting and without the addition of spread.

Fixed Rate at 10 years – 5.460%

Fixed Rate at 15 years – 5.308%

 

Mixed Rate – Fixed Rate of 5, 10, or 15 years, established at the time of loan contracting and without the addition of spread. After the fixed rate period, indexed to the 6-month Euribor + spread. The spread may vary according to loan conditions.

Mixed Rate (Fixed Rate 5 years) – 5.930%

Mixed Rate (Fixed Rate 10) – 5.531%

Mixed Rate (Fixed Rate 15 years) – 5,350%

 

Variable Rate – Indexed to the 6-month Euribor + spread. The spread may vary according to loan conditions.

Depending on the evolution of the benchmark, the interest rate applied to the housing credit contract may assume negative values in accordance with Law No. 32.2018, of July 18.

Variable Rate indexed to the 6-month Euribor – 6.437%
